Have you been wondering how Finns spend their free time in the winter? Ice fishing and sauna are favorite free-time activities of many Finns and the way they spend their weekends, for example.
We will give you an introduction to ice fishing and explain to you how to catch a fish, starting with drilling a hole in the ice. We have salmon in our private lake. Catching one is not guaranteed, but it is usually easy.
A hot sauna and hot tub will be ready for you, once you are done ice fishing. When taking a sauna, you can also jump to snow, to have an even more authentic experience.
We will make a fire for you in our lake laavu, grill sausages, or prepare the salmon if you catch one.

Hygiene measures and safe travels
• We have enhanced hygiene and cleaning. For example, disinfection is available in our cars and changing room, disinfection is done several times a day, and equipment is disinfected after each use.
• Parpalania is located in the middle of nature. Its location, away from the city, makes it a perfect place for social distancing and avoidance of crowded places.
• We offer free disposable gloves and face masks to our customers (using them is optional).

• We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event
• We will NOT charge a cancellation fee if booking is cancelled more than 24 hours before the event

- Please note, that the sauna and hot tub experience is private, but there might be other participants during the salmon ice fishing.
- Catching a salmon is not guaranteed.
- The tour might be cancelled or rescheduled if there are less than 4 adult participants.
- Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. The minimum age to join the activity is 8 years old.
- Please, let us know your dietary preferences upon the booking.
